⭐⭐ Looking for ⭐⭐

Kind, motivated and understanding adults over age 18 to support primary aged children with additional needs at a specialist SEN holiday respite provision in North Warwickshire.

There are a few roles available throughout the summer holidays, leading to increasing hours throughout the other school holidays during the year.

We are looking for adults with experience of supporting children with additional needs to support children to fully access the daytime respite offer. Initial hours - 7 hours per day for 1 day per week during the middle 4 weeks of the summer school holiday. These hours are very likely to be increased moving forward, and there is likely to be additional 1:1 hours available if wanted. The role would include all aspects of caring for the children, supporting them to be safe, to support with inclusion in the activities on their terms and at their pace, supporting with lunch preparation and feeding where needed, and with personal care associated with toileting where needed. All of the children will have various needs, including communication differences so creative communication skills are essential!

DBS would be essential and experience in supporting children with additional needs is preferred where possible. Please note this is a HAF affiliated provider.
