January didn’t go how you planned?

Let me say this clearly — you haven’t failed
And you’re definitely not “behind”.

For so many women over 40, January comes with pressure:
✨ lose the weight
✨ be consistent
✨ get everything back on track

But midlife bodies don’t respond well to too much pressure.

Hormones fluctuate.
Sleep is broken.
Energy dips.
Life happens.

Maybe January felt stop-start, messy, or hard?

February isn’t about trying harder.
It’s about doing things differently.

This is where my Midlife Mojo Method comes in:

I’m really excited to share that on Saturday 14th February I’ll be speaking at a FREE event called Real Women, hosted by Females About Music 💕

I’ll be one of four female speakers, sharing my journey into fitness, why supporting women through movement matters so much to me — and I’ll also be leading a short fitness session that everyone can take part in.

Nothing scary.
Nothing high pressure.
Just moving your body in a way that feels good 💪

End of January check-in!
January didn’t look how I thought it would.
Work has been busy, I’ve been sorting family stuff, easing myself back into training after having a mole removed from the bottom of my foot in October last year… and if I’m honest, social media took a bit of a back seat too as did my daily walks!
So did a lot of non-work time.
Life admin, home jobs that need doing, the everyday stuff that still needs your energy.
I couldn’t do all the things this month — and that’s okay.
What I did focus on was my clients.
Helping them get back into routine without extremes, without punishment, without the “all or nothing” mindset.
And the results have been brilliant 💪
Consistency over perfection.
Simple habits over drastic plans.
Getting back to basics and building from there.
January doesn’t have to be a perfect reset to be a success.
If you’ve felt a bit stretched, off-track, or like something had to give — you’re not behind. You’re human.
February is another opportunity.
No pressure. No drama.
Just small, doable steps again.
And yes… I’m getting back to posting too 😄

Starting this month – a few Pilates spaces still available 🙏

Our new Pilates courses begin this month and it’s been lovely to see people already signed up and ready to get started!
We do still have a few spaces left on the Wednesday and Thursday classes, so if you’ve been thinking about joining, now is the time.

🗓 Classes with spaces available:

Wednesdays 7:00 PM – Bromsgrove School, Dance Studio

Thursdays 5:50 PM – Avoncroft Arts Centre, Main Hall

💷 £68 for the full 8-week course

Pilates is perfect if you want to move more, ease stiffness, improve posture and core strength, and reduce stress — all in a friendly, supportive environment.

With almost 30 years’ experience, I adapt every session so you can work at your own pace and level, whether you’re new to Pilates, returning after a break, or just want to feel better in your body.
