There's something I've wanted to say for a while...

I AM BORED

And I know I'm not alone in feeling this. I've had this conversation with multiple people recently.

I can no longer show up as The Red Kite Reiki. I operate in the world of energetics but "reiki" in the public eye has become a watered down interpretation of what it truly is. I am not aligned with the westernised complementary therapy idea of energetic medicine.

So forthwith I will be operating as Josie Myall.

A decade of energy medicine & vibrational living has stripped me back to my authenticity. This is the impact of energy work. It's not love & light, a nice day out & a wellness treat. It is stripping away the layers of "not you" to reveal your essence. YOUR vibration. From there, everything false falls away.

Clearing the fog from your eyes. Blinking awake to the world with renewed vision. YOUR perspective comes into view. Not what you've been told to look at, not what you've been PAYING your attention to. But seeing, maybe for the first time, what is truly happening in your immediate surroundings.

Because this is where you are. This moment, here, is what you are experiencing.

Now. is. all. you. have. All time is happening now. Today was tomorrow & will become yesterday. It's all now.

My intuitive guidance comes as crisp, quiet whispers or silent knowings. It's never loud or confusing just a clear directive.

Guidance doesn’t always make sense in the moment, but from a higher perspective the nudges move you towards a greater goal.

This week I felt a nudge to rearrange my lounge. The room felt stale & I needed energy. Moving furniture around is something I used to do quite often as a child. Instinctively knowing when new energy was required.

I let the nudge float around my mind but was busy with other things, so I continued to live in my space as it was.

In my morning practice I was journaling on why I had resistance towards making moves towards my goal of moving to a larger home that is more comfortable for myself & my family.

I journeyed within to meet the part of me who is blocking the moves & was greeted by a Disney Witch in a ramshackle cottage. I was unaware that this part of me existed, exiled to the shadows.

I asked her if we could make her home feel more inviting & we began to spruce it up, moving it around & bringing in flowers. Her mood was greatly improved afterwards.

The guidance was clear & my tarot pulls supported the message. 5 Major Arcana cannot be ignored, spirit was shouting at me to take action.

Simple guidance: move the furniture around.

Immediately the energy in my home feels so much lighter. The rooms feel more spacious, I magically have a bigger environment for my family! My gratitude for this sanctuary is renewed.

The energy of resistance, stagnation & limbo replaced with an energy of movement, passion & a surrender to purpose.

This is why we follow the quiet nudges. Taking the small tiny actions that you feel inspired to take in the moment, without knowing fully how they are leading you towards your greater goal.

What little task have you been nudged towards? A drawer that needs a clear out. A cupboard that needs to be rearranged. A bush that needs pruning in the garden or plants that need repotting... follow the breadcrumbs...

Allow the magic to unfold before you.

Saturday 4th April 7-9 pm.

A relaxed and cosy workshop for anyone interested in learning what tarot is & how it can fit easily into everyday life.

It's time to ditch the guidebook & own your intuitive messages.

The universe is always speaking to you, sending you signs, but it's not always easy to understand the language. Tarot cards open up the conversation with your soul, showing you that you already hold the keys that you need, all the answers are waiting inside of you. Let's decode the cards together.

You don't need to be spiritual or have any particular beliefs to attend this workshop.

You will be guided through the origins of the system, the traditional structure of the deck and discover how you can use them in daily practice!

It's beginner friendly, you don't need to have a deck, I have plenty, but you're welcome to bring those cards that have been sitting on your shelf winking at you forever, if you want to.

This permission slip is for you.

You do not need approval or validation from any one to do the things that light you up. It is your primary life purpose to feel happy & fulfilled. But just in case you're waiting for someone to tell you its OK.... Here it is... Its OK.

What is the thing that you're waiting for permission to do? What excites you to your very core? What gifts & delights are you keeping from us?!

You get to choose who you're going to be today, tomorrow & the next day. You're allowed to change, switch things up, have a go, try it out, as many times as you want until you find your groove. You don't have to conform. You're allowed to live the life you want to live, exactly as you are.

Go on. Be bold (or quiet!). You'll be ace. 🌟

Let the people who are meant to see you, see you. YOU then become the permission slip for someone else.

Don't fear judgement. You'll either be invisible to those who aren't ready to see you (and that's ok... it's actually kinda magic & freeing). Or, if they do judge you, we all know that is more about them than you anyway, so send them love for their healing journey 🙏🏻✨️

Why do people keep coming back for reiki? What is it about that energetic flow state of bliss that cannot be felt in any other way?

Reiki is the primordial consciousness of the universe. The energy that makes up 99.99% of the universe (including you, a humbling consideration), the empty space, the void from which all creation is born.

A reiki healing plugs you back in to that original energy. A return to your origins. A hard reset.

Many scientists think that almost all the mass of our bodies comes from the minute quarks & gluons, their kinetic & binding energies. We're in the realm of quantum physics here.

That's one of the things I love most about energy alignment or "healing". It's not spirituality or belief. It's science. The effects are FELT & undeniable.

Your body contains roughly seven octillion atoms, all vibrating and bouncing around. An atom holds alot of fluctuating energy & particles, which are so tiny it's described as empty space.

Think about an electric fan with spinning blades. When the fan isn't in motion, you can see alot of empty space within the fan. But when the fan is in motion (moving atoms), the space between the blades disappears.

Space is never truly "empty". It's actually full of incredible, invisible forces, like wave functions & invisible quantum fields. This is the wonder ✨️

During a Reiki healing you return to your energetic origins. The physical disappears. You become one with the space. A blissful state of "wholeness", the true meaning of healing.

And this state lingers for a time following a session. A feeling of interconnection with all that is. Stress dissipates, pain dissolves, any sense of separation falls away.

One of my favourite practices for entering a new year is to do my Energies for the Year Ahead tarot reading for myself. I do this every year and write the monthly energetics in to my planner ready to greet me as I move through the year. It can be alot of information to take in one go and I'd never remember what was said 10 or 11 months later, so this practice helps to keep it at the forefront of my mind.

It's too good not to share the wonder with you guys.

These are not predictive play by plays of what will occur in your year, but rather a glimpse at the energy threading through your life. Times that might feel wobbly, times of expansion, exploring how the energy will shift & move through your life as the year progresses. I have a strong belief that your daily decisions shape your future, so there are multiple possibilities & outcomes.

At the centre of the reading is the overall theme for the year, an animal spirit to walk beside you, words to ponder, relationship and career focus, alongside spiritual guidance for how best to move forward & shine as you should.

Each month receives a minimum of 1 tarot & 1 oracle message.

My heart cracked open this morning. I read a story & some poetry that released emotions that had been clogged up inside of me for sometime. Sweet relief.

I turned to my self healing practice to energetically refill my cup. I felt a rush of energy cascade down into me, an open vessel eager for replenishment. The energy seemed to be infused with roses & was gratefully received. A divine flow of love caressing every part of my soul & physical body.

Held.

Loved.

This is energy healing. This is what I desire for each of my clients; to experience the SENSATION of connection to all that is. To know that they are not alone, not through words but through FEELING.
