A huge thank you to Vale Royal Crematorium for their amazing donation of £3000 to our wonderful charity “For the love of Lydia “
For those who are not familiar with our charity , it provides wonderful holidays , staying at “Lydia’s Lodge
free of charge which is situated at Greenacres in Porthmadog. It sleeps 6 people , with three good sized bedrooms , large bathroom and shower and a fully equipped kitchen , containing a washing machine and dishwasher . Lydia’s lodge was set up after we lost our beloved daughter to a very rare form of brain cancer , aged just 6 years old . Lydias Lodge provides holidays for any families who sadly find themselves in our position , for children who are terminally ill or having treatment , this gives families precious time to spend together and treasure without worrying about cost, it also includes a pass for free access into all the entertainment and play facilities on offer . Losing Lydia was beyond painful and we will never get over it but learn to live with it . We decided to give back as a family something precious , TIME just for your family .
Here at Jacqueline Wilson funeral services, we are a true family buisness , Lydias twin sister Naomi works within the business and her eldest sister Mirrium also works within the buisness , as does Lydias Auntie Christine .
