We ask that all requests for general enquiries such as administration requests (sick notes, insurance, referrals etc) , requesting results (blood, Xray, secondary care updates) or booking non urgent appointments be made after 11am where possible. This is to ensure our telephone lines are kept free for urgent requests during the hours of 8am - 11am.
We would encourage all non-urgent enquiries to be made via our online consultation form on the home page of our website (PATCHS).

We need your help to reduce medicine waste in our area. We are asking patients who order repeat prescriptions to:

Only order what you need:
Check what medicines you have at home before you order, and only request the medicines you need this time. You will still be able to order others again in future.

Check your prescription bag straight away:
Check that you only have what you need before you leave the pharmacy, and that there’s nothing extra in there.

Let us know if your medicines are no longer right for you:
Talk to your pharmacy team or attend/request medication reviews to make sure medicines are optimised for you.

Take your medicines into hospital:
Keep a current list of your medicines on your NHS App, and take all your medicines in with you.

Dispose of medicines safely:
Return any unused or out of date medicines or inhalers to your pharmacy for safe disposal

Visit: www.cheshireandmerseyside.nhs.uk/medicines-waste to find out more.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside is holding a public consultation on a proposal to stop making gluten free bread and bread mixes available on prescription.
Gluten free bread and bread mixes are sometimes prescribed to individuals who live with coeliac disease, or other diagnosed conditions which mean that people have to follow a gluten free diet.
The public consultation is a chance for people to find out more about the proposal and share their views. It takes place between 28 January and 11 March 2025. The feedback received will be used to make a final decision about the proposal.
Further details about the public consultation, and how to share your views, are available on the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside website
