As 2025 draws to a close, I find myself in the quiet space between Christmas and the New Year, pausing to reflect on all that has unfolded this year. What arises most strongly is a deep sense of gratitude not only for each of my clients for their continued courage and bravery but also for what has been built this year — both professionally and personally.
As a therapist, training is never truly complete; learning is ongoing and professional growth continues to unfold. This year marked the completion of my journey to becoming a fully qualified EMDR Practitioner, finishing my training in September at the Alexander Institute in London.
EMDR allows me to work with deeply rooted experiences & beliefs that have become stuck over time, by accessing the brain’s natural processing system, EMDR gently supports the reprocessing allowing emotional intensity to ease and meaningful change to unfold
In October, I marked a particularly meaningful milestone — celebrating the opening of my own practice rooms after many years of working from rented spaces. These rooms were created with intentional purpose to build a space for my clients to hold moments of stillness, courage, and transformation. They have become a place for difficult conversations, gentle healing, and meaningful change — a space where clients are welcomed without expectation, met with care and kindness, and feel truly held, supported, and understood.
Looking ahead to 2026, I hold a quiet hope for what is to come — that this space continues to grow and unfold in ways that truly serve my clients. I hope it brings deeper connection, meaningful work, and many more gentle moments of change, shaped around the hopes, courage, and commitment each person brings to their own journey.
Above all, I hope it remains a place where clients feel able to arrive as they are, explore what matters most to them, and truly find themselves.
Here’s to a truly Happy and Healthy New Year for each and everyone of you… 🌟
