My lovely client doris,who at the young age of 97, fell and broke a bone in her knee before Christmas. Well today we were able to get out for some coffee and cake 🎂

And we LOVED it 💕

I currently don't have any capacity and will update once I do.

And it's Friday! Today I've been with the lovely Donna Nelson clean and tidy of her home, collections of her teddy's and done gonks she's made. Holiday chats and lots of laughs.

Coffee mornings and lunches this week with some other clients. Also me and archie found a new place for coffee and cake which I will be trying out with some clients next week.

Our client has serious health issues and had been struggling to keep on top of cleaning and organising their home. Like many of the people we speak to, they thought that only ‘care’ related support was available and were unaware of the variety of other support services that could be accessed.

Micro-Providers are self-employed people who provide a range of different support services, such as cleaning, shopping, gardening and helping a client to make social connections within their community.

CCS grant funding was used to set-up a support package, where our Village Agent matched the client with a local Micro-Provider - knowing that the two would get on well and the client would receive the level of support needed to improve their wellbeing.
