Park Yoga Taunton Park Yoga offers FREE outdoor yoga sessions on Sunday mornings from May to September. These sessions are held at Wilton Lands, Vivary Park from 9.30-10.30am

FAQs

I’ve never done yoga before, is Park Yoga for me?
- Everyone is invited, including all abilities. Park Yoga is a great way to try yoga for the first time. Is it really free?
- Yes – completely free. No booking needed

Are children welcome?
- Children welcome (just bring a parent/guardian if you’re under 18). Do I need a yoga mat?
- Bring a mat if you have one. If not, bring a towel or a blanket. What do I need to bring?
- Just bring your mat if you have one, a towel, and some water and be part of something great! How will I find the location in the park?
- Our sessions are at Wilton Lands, Vivary Park. This is the grass area by the Fons George Car Park and behind the High Ropes. We have a green Park Yoga flag that will be set up every week and our Instructor will be wearing a Park Yoga T-shirt so you should be able to spot us. I’m pregnant. Can I come to Park Yoga?
- Park Yoga is not tailored to specific needs, and the large group numbers mean the instructor will not be able to give the usual care and attention. Our Taunton Instructor is not trained in pregnancy yoga but all are welcome, even if you cannot participate. What if it rains?
- Our Taunton Instructor will keep an eye on the weather forecast leading up to the event. If the event needs to be cancelled we will let you know on the Park Yoga Taunton page at least 1 hour in advance

We are so lucky in Taunton to have beautiful parks to practice in with support from the council in using them for Park yoga 🌳🌳🌳
