Mary Berry’s berry crumble cheesecake. Very nice I hope the carers that were lucky enough to sample it enjoyed it.

Xmas decorations. A Mary Berry berry crumble cheesecake. Chess. Kurling. Dishes were done tables were cleaned the floor was swept, we have some very enthusiastic customers.
The decs were put up. The cheesecake is in the fridge. The chess was tense. The staff complained in the Kurling. Bad losers lol . A great day.

We had a busy day along with our scarecrow competition , we’ve been busy baking, playing cards and more craft, never stops here at cogs. Everyone helps out even stacking the dishwasher.

We had an internal scarecrow competition at Compass.
So over the past weeks we have been painting, stuffing and putting together our scarecrow. There were 3 entries. Which one would you say was the best scarecrow. I have to say we came 2nd, the prize chocolate was enjoyed by everyone.

COGs used to take care of this lovely ladies husband Bryan. When Bryan passed away his family and friends very generously donated to COGs. The amount was far more than we could’ve imagined. We asked Penny to come in so that we could show her what we bought. We bought a kurling set and Boccia. Both which Bryan would play with gusto or just walk through kicking the pieces out of the way 😝.
So just to say a huge THANKS to everyone that contributed. 👍❤️

Today COGs chose to go shopping for ingredients, we managed to dodge the rain. A pitstop for a coffee or hot chocolate went down a treat no tricks lol 😋😋

It’s beginning to look like !!!!!!
Well I darent mention the C word yet. But we have started our C preparation.
The Boccia and kurling are always a firm favourite, friendly competition ensues. We sneaked out today and did some shopping having a look at the Halloween bits and pieces. Also a sneaky hot chocolate in the cafe.
