Yoga in Somerset Creative Yoga: Yoga practice with depth. My speciality is "The yoga poses and their inner meanings". It is very calming, focused and active at the same time.

I have trained with the German spiritual teacher Heinz Grill who regards each pose as a gesture which expresses life's deep truths. Thus the yoga practice becomes a form of artistic expression. CLASSES IN SOMERSET UK:

What I love about this approach to yoga is that it is both health-giving and artistic. We work in quite a detailed way at the individual poses, activating some part of the body and relaxing others. This makes the positions both energising and calming. It also gives them a graceful beauty.

Yesterday I saw a green lizard at the ecological spiritual project at Naone. There is a very peaceful atmosphere there with no electromagnetic radiation, making it an inviting environment for all sorts of wildlife. The lizard did not seem frightened of us but seemed to like our attention!

This beautiful mosaic was created last December by a group of young people visiting the Sun Oasis here in Italy. It is in the corner of a room called "The Water House", so called because there is a water purifying system there for all the drinking water provided at the Sun Oasis.

Attached to the walls you can see large granite stones. The water runs down over these stones before being bottled.

Here at the Sun Oasis centre in Italy a new living culture is being developed.

Every afternoon guests are invited to participate in the creative activities in different fields.

Here a room is being shaped to help the light circulate better and to round off the sharp corners between the walls and ceiling.

People entering that room will then feel more welcomed and as if they have space around them.

I'm back in Italy and had the opportunity to practise the scorpion, vrischikasana on my own in the sun-drenched mountain meadow at Naone.

We have been exploring the value striving for high aims.

On Monday evening a small group of us gathered to sing Sanskrit mantras. Our aim was to focus on the thoughts expressed in the words, and thus to radiate out peace for the world.
