What a brilliant time we all had at Taunton Flower Show 🌼

Vivary Park was in full bloom, we admired the floral exhibits, watched the demonstrations in the ring and generally enjoyed a jolly good day out!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our lovely summer fete, we’re thrilled to share that we raised an amazing £1,135 for our residents amenities fund! 🌞💛

Animal Therapy at Calway House! 🐉

Friday, we welcomed a very special visitor, Maurice, a bearded dragon who belongs to our lovely, Claire. Claire kindly brought her friendly pet in to meet our residents, and he was a big hit! 👏

Many of our residents had the chance to gently hold or stroke Maurice, and for some, it was their first time ever seeing a bearded dragon! There were plenty of smiles, curious questions, and a real sense of wonder. A big thank you to Claire and Maurice for bringing such joy to our day! 💚

Our ladies enjoyed a peaceful outing to the park last week, soaking up the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. ☀️🌳

They especially loved watching the golfers, chatting together over a cup of tea, and of course, treating themselves to some delicious ice cream! 🍦☕

Last week, we remembered VE Day, a time to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who helped bring peace to Europe in 1945. 🇬🇧

Yesterday, Patrick and John enjoyed a trip down memory lane with a lovely morning at Vivary Park, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying an ice cream. 🍦

The day became even more special with a visit to Taunton Bowling Club where Patrick used to play, bringing back wonderful memories and smiles. 💚

Moments like this remind us how powerful simple joys and shared memories can be. 🥰
