The wait is over - we’re proud to finally share this.

We’ve now launched robot-assisted knee replacement surgery using the VELYs system at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital.

This is a significant step forward in how we plan and perform knee replacements - helping us achieve greater precision and consistency.

For patients here in Taunton and the surrounding areas, it means access to more advanced care closer to home.

More importantly, it’s about improving how we personalise surgery for each patient.

This evening we had the pleasure of welcoming local healthcare professionals to Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital for our Radiology Insights CPD evening.

It’s really important to us to open our doors, share what we do, and showcase the care and dedication our teams bring to patients every day.

Guests learned more about our services and referral pathways, before enjoying a behind-the-scenes tour of our Radiology department.

A huge thank you to Dee, our Interim Radiology Manager, who led an excellent presentation and tour, supported by Barbara from Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital, the feedback has been very positive.

We’ve also received some great ideas for future events, with strong interest in returning for more. Thank you to our Sodexo team for the fantastic catering, which was highly praised.
