This month, we are shining the spotlight on someone who has truly carried us through some challenging moments. Heather, our incredible housekeeper.
Heather was nominated by both staff and residents for the way she stepped up, front and centre, when we needed her most. When our maintenance team left, she did not just fill a gap she took the lead. From handling jobs around the home to supporting the work during the cladding and solar installations, Heather kept everything running with calm, care and a spirit of teamwork that lifted everyone around her.
She has been hands-on, present, and tireless all while keeping her own role running smoothly and supporting health and safety audits without missing a beat. Heather is the kind of person who notices what needs doing and just gets on with it, not for the praise, but because she cares.
