🚩🌟 Congratulations to July's Bright Sparks winner, Heather 🌟🚩

This month, we are shining the spotlight on someone who has truly carried us through some challenging moments. Heather, our incredible housekeeper.

Heather was nominated by both staff and residents for the way she stepped up, front and centre, when we needed her most. When our maintenance team left, she did not just fill a gap she took the lead. From handling jobs around the home to supporting the work during the cladding and solar installations, Heather kept everything running with calm, care and a spirit of teamwork that lifted everyone around her.

She has been hands-on, present, and tireless all while keeping her own role running smoothly and supporting health and safety audits without missing a beat. Heather is the kind of person who notices what needs doing and just gets on with it, not for the praise, but because she cares.

💜 Heather, thank you for showing what it means to be dependable, kind, and all-in. You are our Bright Spark and this place would not be the same without you. 💜

🦉 A Hoot of a Visit! 🦉

We were thrilled to welcome Sharandys Birds of Prey for a special visit recently! They brought along four beautiful owls Cobweb, Barney, Bracken, and Mutley, they certainly stole the show. 🤩

Residents loved getting up close with these magnificent birds, learning more about them, and even having the chance to hold them. It was a truly memorable and magical experience for everyone involved! 🥰🦉

We were thrilled to welcome Bella, the delightful miniature Shetland pony, for a visit and, what a treat it was! With her gentle nature and fluffy mane, she trotted right into everyone's hearts. 🐴💕

Bella made her rounds, sharing cuddles and charm in equal measure. Moments like these remind us how powerful animal companionship can be in brightening our days. 🥰

This past Friday, we came together to commemorate D-Day with a meaningful gathering filled with good company, thoughtful conversations, and heartfelt remembrance. ❤️

It was a lovely way to honour such an important day in history. We even had ration books on hand, a small but powerful reminder of the era and the sacrifices made. Lest we forget. ❤️
