🦅 What a wonderful day we had yesterday at our home in , as we welcomed the amazing Owl Adventures and their stunning birds of prey! 🦉

Residents and staff had the chance to get up close with these magnificent creatures — even wearing the handler’s glove to hold them! 🧤 Faya, their brilliant handler, shared fascinating facts and stories that made the experience even more special.

It was a heartwarming and memorable afternoon for everyone involved 🥰

🌍💛 Happy International Friendship Day! 💛🌍

Today, we’re celebrating the many beautiful friendships that make our care home such a special place to live and work.

From residents who’ve become like lifelong friends, to the warm bonds shared between staff and residents, families and our management team — every connection adds something unique to our home.

Whether it’s sharing stories over a cuppa, enjoying activities side by side, or simply offering a listening ear, these friendships bring comfort, joy, and a true sense of belonging.

Here’s to the laughter, support, and companionship that fill our days — because life is better when shared with friends. 💐👵🏽👴🏼👭👩‍⚕️

Last week, we had the joy of welcoming children from Holy Trinity Primary Taunton for a delightful Teddy Bears’ Picnic! 🧸🧺

Although the sunshine took a little break, we brought the fun indoors with a cosy story time. Our lovely residents, Ann and Marion, read beautifully to the children while they tucked into their picnic treats.

These special intergenerational moments bring so many benefits — from boosting wellbeing and easing anxiety, to encouraging movement and sparking smiles all around. 💛

We had some very special visitors today — a trio of friendly alpacas (Benjamin, Billy & Bumble) came to spend time with our residents, and it was pure joy from start to finish! 🦙❤️

There were smiles, cuddles, and lots of laughter as our residents got up close with these gentle creatures. The alpacas brought a calming presence and sparked so many happy memories and conversations.

Moments like these remind us how powerful connection with animals can be — soothing, uplifting, and so full of love. 🥰

A big thank you to Stoke Wood Alpacas for making this magical day possible!

Today, our home was filled with laughter, music, and a wonderful sense of celebration as we honoured the King’s Birthday in true royal fashion! 👑✨

Residents, their loved ones and staff came together to enjoy a delicious lunch of traditional fish and chips, wave their flags, and share joyful moments in honour of the occasion. The day was full of smiles, conversations, and cherished memories.

These celebrations are a lovely way to bring joy, connection, and tradition into our home. 💖
