We’ve been busy in the background creating a brand new website made in collaboration with I’m so pleased with how it has turned out and excited to hear your feedback 👐

The website will tell you more about who I am and what I do but I thought I would take this opportunity to re-introduce myself;

As a qualified Integrative Therapist with over two decades of experience, I am honoured to work with adults, couples, adolescents, and young children. My practice addresses a wide range of mental health concerns, including bereavement, complex grief, addiction, trauma, PTSD, and anxiety, as well as those seeking greater self-understanding or striving to be their best selves 🤍

Death can seem cruel and unfair, especially when you feel someone has died too young or if you had plans for the future together. 💜

You might feel angry at the person who died, angry at others, or even angry at yourself for things that you did or didn’t do while they were alive.

It’s normal to have these feelings.

COUNSELLING VS. PSYCHOTHERAPY🤔
~

The two terms are often used interchangeably but what do they mean?! 🤯

Well, both are forms of talking therapy! So either approach is a step in the right direction towards recovery.👏🏻

Counselling is generally used more for problems that have developed more recently. This route is designed for issues like anxiety or depression, and is usually a short programme.👌🏻

Psychotherapy is a more intense psychological approach. We tend to use this method if someone has complex trauma or long-term mental health problems. It’s a slower approach as it requires more background research into your childhood/past. ✅

Thankfully I represent BOTH routes so I can make your life easier! I’ll be able to tell you whether we need to take a counselling or psychotherapeutic approach — so it all depends on you. ☺️

Being an effective practitioner requires a lot of training and the best way to learn is through others. The knowledge gained is far more beneficial! 💡

Much of the work we do cannot be learned from a textbook, but from practise. 💪🏻

I’m a qualified supervisor and I can assist you on your journey into becoming a verified practitioner. ✅

I offer 1-1 supervision via zoom, in-person or over the phone. Whether you work with adults, adolescents or children, I can assist you! Sessions start from £45/hr with concessions available.
