🎉 Bingo, games, and great memories all around! 🎉

Our weekly Bingo had a very special twist this week, Keith, who used to be a bingo caller for an impressive 13 years, was more than happy to take the mic again! He said it brought back so many wonderful memories, and judging by the laughs and smiles, the fun was truly had by all 😄

Beyond bingo, residents have been enjoying a fantastic mix of games, physical ones like skittles, as well as Scrabble, card games, and more. A special mention goes to Mervyn, who looks forward to his weekly game of chess with his brother ♟️ A lovely tradition we all enjoy seeing. ❤️

🎄 Wow… how was Christmas a month ago already?! 🎄

It feels like only yesterday that we were enjoying a truly wonderful Christmas Day filled with smiles, laughter, and festive cheer. A very special highlight was a visit from Father Christmas, which brought so much joy and excitement to our residents 🎅✨

Such lovely memories to look back on, and ones we’ll be smiling about for a long time yet 💖

We are all incredibly proud of Oliver and Latha for successfully completing their Level 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care 🎓✨

This is a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of their hard work, dedication and commitment to providing excellent care.

We’re delighted to share some wonderful festive moments from the lead up to Christmas! ✨🎄

🛍️ Our shop is now open! Michaela and Jade have launched our new shop. The shop offers toiletries, sweet treats and drinks, perfect for a cosy film-time snack 🍫🥤🎬

🎶 We were thrilled to welcome the Methodist Church at Lisieux Way for their annual Christmas Carol Service. Rev Annie, Michelle and Peter filled M with festive spirit through joyful hymns, readings and festive outfits. A beautiful service enjoyed by residents and families alike ❤️

🎓 King's College Taunton students joined us for their final visit before Christmas, making personalised cards for residents and decorating festive gingerbread. Funded by their project, the activity brought lots of smiles and festive cheer 🍪✨

🎨✨ Boxing Day Spotlight! ✨🎨

We’re excited to announce the 6 winners of Archie's Artist Competition with Holway School: Olive, Michael, Spencer, Izzy, Jamie, and Darcy! 🏆

The winners were revealed on the last day before the Christmas break, and each received a certificate and a festive goodie bag. 🎁

A huge well done to everyone who took part, the creativity on show was incredible, and it was a tough decision for our very own resident judge, Barbara! 👏

We had the pleasure of receiving a lovely invite from the Pathology Unit next door to join in their Christmas carols, enjoy some delicious mince pies, and sip on warming mulled wine. 🍷🍰🎶

It was a lovely way to celebrate the festive period - great company, festive tunes, and lots of holiday cheer! 🎅✨

A big thank you to the Pathology team for making this Christmas celebration extra special for us all! 💙

🎄✨ Christmas Party Celebrations ✨🎄

This week we held our Christmas party, and what a fantastic celebration it was! 🎅🎉
We were joined by the amazing Jeff Fletcher Music Therapy Sing Alongs , who filled the room with jolly Christmas tunes and had everyone singing along 🎶✨

It was lovely to see families joining in, sharing laughter and creating wonderful festive memories with their loved ones ❤️

A huge thank you to Chef Wendy, who put on a delicious spread as always, and of course the drinks were flowing to keep the celebrations going 🥂🎄

🔔🎶 And the bells are ringing out for Moorhaven! 🎶🔔

We got into the full Christmas spirit with a special session from a talented local bell ringing group! 🎄✨ The group offered our residents the chance to join in ringing the bells, and it was such a joyful experience for all! 🛎️💖

For some residents, it even brought back fond memories, making it even more meaningful.

A huge thank you to the bell ringers for sharing their talent and spreading holiday cheer with us! 🎅🎉

We were so grateful to have the Holway School Choir join us for a heart-warming festive singalong! 🎄✨

The residents loved singing along to all their favourite Christmas songs as the choir's beautiful voices filled the room. 🎤🎅

After their wonderful performance, the students stayed to chat with our residents and enjoyed a hot chocolate! ☕🎶
