Our residents and staff came together for a fun sweepstake, with everyone getting involved and sharing in the excitement. A big congratulations to our wonderful respite resident Margaret, who took first place, with Keira coming a close second 🎉💜

Margaret shared how much she enjoyed taking part – and even more so that she won! It’s especially lovely to have her with us again for her second respite visit, after such a positive first stay. Hearing how much she enjoys her time here truly means a lot 🌿

We’ve been keeping everyone moving with some lively parachute and balloon games to music. Staff joined in and the room was full of laughter from start to finish. Such a fun way to stay active together! 😄 🎈

🌼🌷 Big shoutout to Keith, Terry, and Richard for their hard work in helping Oliver transform the garden! They’ve been busy planting beautiful flowers for pots and hanging baskets. We can’t wait to see all the vibrant blooms and lots more sunshine! ☀️🌺

We celebrated Easter with a delightful day filled with laughter, dancing, and an abundance of music during our red-carpet Easter bonnet parade!🐰 Residents enthusiastically participated in decorating bonnets and bunny ears in preparation for the event. Staff set up a stunning red carpet and a photo booth to capture the memorable moments of the walk's finale. It was a joyous occasion, especially with Janet's granddaughter and great-grandchildren joining us. The involvement of all staff members added to the fun, and the smiles on everyone’s faces made it truly special! 🌼🎉

We were recently thrilled to welcome Owl Obsession UK for a truly special morning 🦉✨

They introduced us to three beautiful owls; Fudge, Splat, and Perdy. Everyone loved learning all about them, from what they eat to where they live. The highlight of the visit was, of course, the chance to gently stroke these amazing birds! 🦉

A wonderful, memorable experience enjoyed by all 💛

We were delighted to welcome back our King's College Taunton students on Monday for their final visit before the Easter break 🌼

Clara led a wonderful activity, “Spring in a Jar,” which was thoroughly enjoyed by our residents. The beautiful creations are now proudly displayed in rooms and on the dining tables, bringing a lovely touch of spring to our home 🌸

Sadly, this was Clara’s last visit with us. We took the opportunity to thank her for her time, kindness, and dedication, and wished her all the very best for the future, along with a few small gifts as a token of our appreciation 💛

🍴 What a joy our monthly Archie Project lunches at Holway School are! Maud, Keith, and Judy love attending, and the children are always excited to show off their work and tell us what they’ve been learning. 😍

Amelia, the teacher, guides the children as they serve up lunch, and there’s never a dull moment, especially with Keith’s jokes keeping everyone laughing! 😄

These visits are such a beautiful reminder of how wonderful intergenerational friendships can be. 💛

☀️ Making the most of the beautiful sunshine! Our wonderful residents Terry and Keith were more than happy to lend a hand in the garden. Terry spent a morning de-weeding and sweeping, while Keith, with his handyman expertise, gave our statues a fresh clean and a new coat of paint. Meanwhile, Pam, Del, and Pauline relaxed in the spring sunshine, enjoying cold drinks and sharing holiday stories. 🌸🌿

We love seeing everyone come together to care for our garden and enjoy each other’s company! 💛

Pam, Mavis and Keith enjoyed a beautiful walk in the sunshine, making the most of the brighter spring days 🌿💛

We took a stroll down to the YMCA, where we stopped for a well-deserved sweet treat 🍰 and admired the lovely daffodils in bloom, a perfect reminder that spring is here 🌼

A simple outing filled with fresh air, smiles, and special moments together 💛
