Congratulations to Camelot House and Lodge for securing a 5th successive accreditation, scoring 100% for the 3rd time in a row, from the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) for outstanding palliative care.

The home now qualifies as a finalist in October’s national awards for Care Home of the Year. We are so proud of you!

Yesterday we celebrated Indian independence day 🇮🇳🪷🍛 With singing, dancing, henna, cuisine, art and fashion we celebrated our staff and their beautiful culture 🧡🤍💚 Thank you to everyone who came and those who helped out

What we have been up to recently ☀️We’ve been making the most of the weather and getting out in the garden to play bowls and tend to the plants🪴 We’ve made our own ice lollies and have been enjoying the hydration station 🍉🍹 we celebrated carers day🧑🏻‍🦽‍➡️pride 🏳️‍🌈 and the 4th of July by quizzing our residents. We had some fresh cream and strawberries whilst watching Wimbledon 🍓🎾 enjoying playing games like our egg box ping pong, parachute and musical instruments 🥁 our lovely visitors and performers ⛪️🎤 baking 👨🏼‍🍳 painting 🫟 and simply having a boogie 🕺

🦋What a great day we had at our fete! 🦋

Thank you to everyone that attended to support the event. The weather stayed nice and we had a brilliant turn out so we are sure to have raised a good amount for our residents fund.

Special thanks for the attendance of the Mayor of Wellington, Wellington Majorettes, Northfield Ukelele Strummers, Reminiscence Learning and all the staff, relatives and friends that helped out by running stalls, baking cakes, catering, BBQ. It made the day such a success. Thank you 🤩

Thank you for all the donations made from everyone, the loan of equipment and all the staff that worked behind the scenes adding to the success of the day. We really appreciate your kindness and support 💜🦋

Thank you to everyone that attended our bingo tonight- it was a great turn out again. Thank you to Debbie for calling the bingo, Graham and Christine for loaning the equipment, all the ‘helpers’ and to those that donated raffle prizes. Our VE Day celebrations ❤️🤍💙 Last week we celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day marking the end of WW2 in Europe. We had a wonderful street party with a lovely afternoon tea style lunch with music of the 1940s playing it was an opportunity for residents to remember and reminisce with many swapping their stories and memories of this time. Thank you to the family and friends of residents who joined us in our celebration 🇬🇧
