We hope you all had a wonderful Easter 🐣 🪺🐰🍫 💐 We’ve had a lovely time celebrating doing lots of arts and crafts, getting outside 🫧 making our own Easter chocolates, a sensory egg hunt, flower arranging and of course ending with an Easter egg for everyone 💛

We love a trip to our neighbours Blackdown garden centre 🌿 feeding the fish 🐠 a mooch around the shop and plants 🌷 and of course a stop at the restaurant 🍰🫖 The staff are always so lovely and brilliant with our residents so thank you 💛

Our residents had the best day getting into the Easter spirit with a visit from our favourite furry friends Kelly's Donkeys with plenty of sunshine and smiles we enjoyed feeding the animals and having cuddles. We can’t thank the wonderful Spike enough for making the day so special with his warmth and kindness 💛

This past week we celebrated Mother’s Day with a lovely cream tea 🫖 💐 and St Patrick’s Day with our find the 4 leaf clover game and shamrock shakes and a few cheeky Guinnesses 🇮🇪🍀

What an honour for Camelot House and Lodge to be chosen by retired yachtsman Craig Fox-Johnson (his wife Jenny is a resident) as the venue for a donation of specialist kit and clothing to the charity , which provides access to sailing programmes for those living with disability.

Craig and Jenny covered many nautical miles together, including the lengthy voyage down the French canal network to the Mediterranean, and they were keen to ensure the kit they used during their yachting days should benefit others now they no longer use it themselves!
