There is going to be a test of the government's emergency alert system this Sunday 7th September at 3pm. During this test, compatible phones may show a notification while making a loud, siren-like noise and vibrating.

There is nothing you need to do because of this. However, if you care for someone who may be impacted by this test, you can disable the alerts via the government website.
