A wise man once said that your achievements in life are not defined by the job you secure, the friends you make or the family you create. Success is determined by how well you kick a spherical object into and away from some netting on a Sunday in Taunton between the morning hours of 9 and 10. Pretty sure that is right.

Constantin was having none of Dan L challenging for the goal scoring gong, answering 8 goals with...another 8 goals! That is the only the 3rd time that has happened in recorded TFS history, the other instance belonged to a man with lovely long curly hair, wonder who that could be?

Ali barely beating Jon in the battle of the bulge, beautiful bodies befalling these brave bashful boys. Bravo! (quietly puts away the dictionary)

Jon however won't be bested in the overall leaderboard, overcoming his overhang and hangover to sit beautifully at the top with just 2 weeks of the seasons left to go. More drama than an episode of Corrie!

So calling all men that want to make their mummies and daddies proud, get yourself down to Castle Astro and create the legacy you were born for........or to have a nice kick about with your mates, we're not picky!

Some cracking games to go alongside the thunder this morning. Well done for everyone who turned up even in the rain. Constantin has continued his scintillating form, with goals in every game, including two hat tricks!

Greens🟢 narrowly take the win! Followed by black⚫ and orange🟠 who could only be split on head-to-head record. Tough day for a couple of the other teams and a set of heavy losses, but as the great Ted Lasso said "Success is not about the wins and losses. It's about helping these young fellas be the best versions of themselves, on and off the field"

It's a shame to end the post on a bit of a negative, but we are now having to implement a disciplinary policy for those who don't turn up when they've said they would. All we ask is that you let us know that you can't make it, doesn't matter what the reason is. From here on out, anyone who no-shows will be part of a three-strike policy, followed by a ban if it continues.

3/4 way through the season and its still twisting and turning like Brad after a challenge!

Ali is packing up and throwing away the lbs losing over a stone 🪨, Dan L has somehow not only caught but taken over Constantin in the goal scoring charts after smashing in 8 in one session ⚽ and Jon is still sitting proudly and prettily on top of the overall leaderboard with the chasing pack right behind, just how it he likes it 😘

The weather is starting to get colder but its only getting hotter at TFS. 🔥

On a morning where the weather didn't quite know what it was doing, a few of the lads were much more certain in front of goal. Dan Lowman the standout player for Reds with 8 goals over the three games, incredible performance really.

Reds unsurprisingly took the win this morning, beating Blacks in a close game to take the W. Well played everyone involved!

It's Sunday, you know what that means.

Another weekend, another round of fixtures! Two debuts, and long-awaited return and plenty of goals, including a screamer from James, who scored from virtually inside his own half. Albeit with different players, greens take the win for the second week in a row, even with six after a few no-shows. Huge! Thank you to Jack and Aaron, who not only made their first appearance with us, filled in to make up numbers.

MOTM and DOTM votes are in the WhatsApp group, overall tables will be later in the week.

Later in the week than usual, apologies, that's my fault.

Constantin still leads the overall goal scoring charts, with phenomenal performances over the last few weeks. Really good to see him amongst the goals. The usual suspects of Jake, Dan and Gary are not far behind.

Massive congratulations to Jon, Cameron and Ali you are all making great strides in their weight loss. Keep up the hard work everyone doing that!

Jon is our overall leader, which I personally think is well deserved. Not only with weight loss but some phenomenal defender of the match performances over the last few weeks, consistently being voted by his opposition. Cameron and CJ are hot on his heels, but are going to have to really pull out some performances to catch up.
