The fixtures for this weekend have unfortunately been cancelled, as the pitch at The Castle School has fallen victim to the weather. We've been informed that the pitch is unplayable and the surrounding area is unsafe.

All players who have paid, will receive their next playing weekend free of charge, just let one of us know before confirming attendance on Spond.

A message from Josh.

"Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I’ve decided to step down from my role as an organiser and will be focusing on being a player going forward. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for me at this time.

Having been involved from the very beginning, I’m really proud of what TFS has grown into and grateful for the time, effort, and support so many people have contributed along the way.

The remaining organisers will continue to run things as usual, with no disruption to sessions or plans.

I’m looking forward to continuing to be part of the group and getting back on the pitch.

Thanks everyone."

Close teams and close results today! Great to see competitive and close fixtures on a weekend, well played everyone involved. From next week, we're going to have team names, instead of black, white etc. all suggestions are welcome.

For the first time in an age, we have a new leader at the top. A superb weekend for Abe and Andy leaves them top of the goalscoring charts, with familiar faces following closely behind!

New Year, new top scorer! 😯

Despite the cold and a few dropouts today, we had a good turnout and managed to get 6 teams for the first time in a while!

Well played everyone, the game between Blues and Red finished 4-1, however due to disciplinary reasons, a number of players were awarded an additional goal each.

The overall leaderboards will be released in the week, see y'all next week!
