Huge congrats to Rawlyn House for being named Placement Provider of the Year by the University of Exeter! 🎓🎉

Recently we have been working with Exeter University on a pilot Scheme to help support Student nurses on placement within the home. We have been very lucky to have had a wonderful student nurse working a long side us and yesterday we were awarded Placement Provider of the Year 🏆🏆. Congratulations to all of our team you are truly amazing what a great accomplishment.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the recent family survey.
We are so pleased to be able to donate £320 to the "No Barriers Here" program at The Mary Stevens Hospice for advanced care planning, thanks to the submissions we had. 👏 👏

Over the last few months, our teams have benefited from participating in the facilitator's workshops provided by the program. This has given not only a valuable insight into End of Life planning with and for people with a learning disability, but also the tools and confidence to start the conversation with people and their families.

We recognised that "No Barriers Here" are working tirelessly to turn the often-taboo subject of End of Life planning into a fully embraced, and indeed celebrated, part of people's life plan. Focusing on being accessible, truly person centred and highly insightful, we believe that this program is essential and deserves to go from strength to strength. We hope that this donation will in some small way support this. 🩷

Having a manager that can tell you’re not okay without even having to say anything gives you a sense of security & comfort which is unmatched. I would never choose to have another manager. In regards to our residents, Hollie gives up her time if needed to ensure our they are receiving the best experiences & memories. she continually does her best to ensure our residents receive the best person centred care possible.
