We strive to find out what is important to you. By understanding this, we aim to carefully match a Care Professional to each client and it is always a great comfort to an older person to know exactly who is coming and exactly when their Care Professional will arrive. Our Care Professionals are able to provide a range of services which can include companionship, home help such as shopping and cleaning, medication reminders, meal preparation, local transportation to social events or appointments, respite care and a full range of personal care services. Home Instead provides a specialist service for people who have Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Service can be provided from as little as a couple of hours a week up to 24 hours a day. The strength of Home Instead lies with our unique group of Care Professionals. We are particularly proud of the standard of service they provide and the dedication and commitment shown to our clients. Home Instead clients come to us in many ways. Some people come to us themselves; others are introduced by their children or relatives and some clients are referred to us by Social Services and the NHS. Regardless of how you come to Home Instead, it is our goal to provide the same exceptional level of care. Home Instead care for my Mum, who is in her 90s and has some memory loss. As well as providing daily home visits, they take her on shopping trips and to church, providing her with a weekly routine and purpose. All the carers are friendly and kind and Mum enjoys her visits and their company. In addition we as a family are well supported by the local manager, Tom, who regularly reviews Mum's changing needs and ensures we are kept in touch about any issues. We are very happy with Mum's care and would absolutely recommend Home Instead
