We have recently installed a variety of Access Flow X's in different colours for our customers. Here you can see said colours the lift can come in and don't forget, the rail can also come in different colours!

Here is an Access Homeglide Comfort we installed a couple of days ago with just enough room at the bottom to fit without having to move this customers furniture.

A great way to finish the week yesterday with a new Access Homeglide Comfort install! Have we already mentioned they are Which? Stairlift provider of the year!?

This was an urgent request for a stairlift that, thanks to a fantastic team effort, we managed to turn around in just 3 days!

They really appreciated our hard work just as we appreciated their kind words! We also go the extra mile where we can for our customers!

One more install completed by our engineers!

Here we have an Access Homeglide Extra that features a power swivel and a footplate link, which (for those of you who are unfamiliar) means if you fold the seat up then the footplate will do the same.

Some of the great things about this stairlift is that it folds away well, it's user friendly, it looks modern and it's incredibly reliable.

Recently we removed an old Handicare 2000 and installed a new Oto Modul-Air Smart.

One of the first things our customer mentioned was how modern this new stairlift was compared with their old one.

The Oto Modul-Air Smart features a Smart Display on the arm, providing key information about the stairlift. A smart and unique feature other stairlifts do not have.

Another brilliant install by our engineers! 👏

Here we have an Access Homeglide with a Powered Hinge. Due to the nature of this staircase having such a short overrun at the bottom of the stairs, from the first step to the doorway, a standard straight rail would intrude upon the doorway downstairs. This would present a Health & Safety risk due to the end of the rail being a trip hazard. However, with the powered hinge rail this is not a problem!

As the lift comes down, the "hinged" part of the rail (you currently see folded up in the photo) would come down and enable the lift to safely travel to the bottom. Vice versa as you send the lift up to park it out the way, the hinged part would then fold up nice and neatly as you can see.

Once our engineers finished this install, they were told by the customer that he himself used to work in human resources. He then went on to mention how excellent our customer service has been from every member of staff they have interacted with, which was excellent to hear!

We are always incredibly proud of our team when we receive such lovely feedback. It inspires us daily to keep delivering the very best service to every one of our customers!

This is a successful and, as you can see from the photos, a very tight stairlift installation we completed this week.

A unique layout at the top of the stairs presented an incredibly tight point between the top newel post and the wall sitting at 630mm. Thanks to the swivel technology of the Access BDD Flow, which is unlike any other stairlift, we can adjust the angle of the swivel at any given point on the rail - an absolute necessity here!

We were informed that our customer was told by other stairlift companies they simply could not do it, but here at Somerset Stairlifts & Mobility we go the extra mile for our customers, with no room for error by our outstanding engineers!
