Wishing our amazing colleague Hilary a fantastic start to her fundraising challenge today! 🎉

Over the next few weeks, activities coordinator Hilary, along with her faithful canine companion Ziggy, will be walking over 200 miles between 22 care homes to support Dementia UK and raise funds for resident trips and activities 👣

Today, she kicks off the first leg of her journey, walking 10 miles from Portcullis House - Somerset Care in Langport, via Wessex House - Somerset Care in Somerton, to Southlawns - Somerset Care in Street.

We'll be cheering her on every step of the way! 💪❤️

🌟 Connecting with Our Communities! 🌟

Clare & Catherine, our Sales and Partnership Leads from the support centre, have been busy building connections in our local communities! 💛

They recently hosted an information stand at Westlands Yeovil , sharing details about a range of individualised care services to support people living in the community and their families. The venue was perfect for engaging with local groups, including the Bereavement Group and Alzheimer’s Talking Café, where families come together to share experiences over coffee and cake. ☕🍰

We are delighted to provide valuable information to help individuals plan for future care needs. This outreach also continued at an Information Day at South Petherton Community Hospital , helping even more people access the support they need.
