We all know we need these are 2 areas of our body to be strong for any sport we play. When glutes and core are working well, so do we. We will be quicker - we will move better - we will accelerate faster - we can improve endurance.
And we can prevent common issues such as back,knee, hip and hamstring injuries from happening.
However, standard glute and core exercises are not enough to have these important areas at their peak.
You can do an exercise focusing on the core or glutes but it’s likely that other muscles in your body are doing the lifting instead of them. This is compensation and it’s so common in non-injured athletes.
Did you know that jaw or neck could be doing the work of the core during the standard plank exercise? This is very common.
Did you know your shoulders and arms or even your calves could be doing the lifting during your weighted hip thrust?
Your glutes can’t do the job themselves so your body recruits other muscles to help. This normally leads to injury. The bane for any aspiring athlete.
This is Where Be-Activated Helps
Be-Activated is muscle activation method that upgrades muscle groups such as glutes and core so that the body works in it’s natural, powerful state. By getting glutes and core to work well, it helps to reduce compensation patterns in the body. Reduce these compensation patterns and ultimately, not only does injury rate drop but the athlete will raise his/her performance to new levels.
The reason for glute and core dysfunction runs deeper than just muscle weakness and trying to strengthen it. There is a reason why the compensation patterns are happening. Finding the area of the body where the body is compensating is key and that is what Be-Activated does first through a series of muscle tests and then through a series of activations to kickstart the muscles into action.
I first test the glutes and core and see how they are functioning (likely not very well ;)). I then go through a series of activations to get them firing.
These activations will certainly include correcting breathing patterns and psoas activation as both are crucial to glutes and core.

Your body compensates in so many ways and the most innocuous areas could hold the answer.
