🌟 Staff Spotlight – Maddie 🌟

Maddie is 27 and a very proud mum to her little girl, who is her absolute world. She has worked in care on and off for the past eight years, building valuable experience and a genuine passion for supporting others.

Originally qualifying as a dog groomer, Maddie’s love of animals has always been a big part of who she is. Outside of work, she describes herself as a bit of a petrol head, with a love for fast cars and anything with speed — although she’s equally at home in a pair of heels! When it comes to music, rave and heavy bass will always win over any other genre.

Above all, Maddie is passionate about delivering supportive, person-centred care and making a positive difference in people’s lives every single day. We’re proud to have her as part of our team.

🌟 A Huge Shout-Out to Our Incredible Domiciliary Care Team 🌟

Over the last few days, our carers have faced some extremely challenging and, at times, dangerous conditions due to ice and snow — and we could not be prouder of them.

Working across rural areas where roads are not gritted and in places cars simply cannot reach, many of our team have gone above and beyond. Their dedication has been nothing short of remarkable.

All of this while working in freezing temperatures and continuing to do the already demanding job of caring for others, with compassion, resilience, and determination. Their priority has always been the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our clients, no matter the conditions.

Thank you to every single one of our carers for your commitment, courage, and kindness. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do 💙👏

It’s been a year full of ups and downs — at times it even felt like being back in the Covid days, with staffing and hours changing faster than ever! Yet through it all, our team have continued to thrive, adapt, and deliver outstanding care.

This year, our dedicated team at Kensey Care provided approximately 8,320
hours of care and drove an incredible 57,720 miles to visit and support you —
that’s the equivalent of travelling around the world more than 2 times! 🌍

Every mile and every hour reflect the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our carers, who strive to make a difference in your daily lives.
