On Friday 5th September we be holding our monthly Blood Pressure Check day. Anyone over 40 is more than welcome to come in and have their blood pressure checked by the team.

Attention to all Medpoint patients: the collection point has just been loaded. If you have received notification this afternoon, please collects as soon as possible. With the hot weather predicted for tomorrow and the weekend, we can not guarantee Medpoint to be functioning all weekend. Purely because the machine has no built in cooling and has been been getting too hot for medication to be kept in recently. Many thanks Tavyside Team.

Our Independent Prescribing Pharmacist David Masson and Philip Dawes can now supply and give advice on contraception without the need to see your GP.

This service is available to those people stating contraception for the first time or for continued supply of contraception.

Our Contraceptive Service is available to patients under 54 years old and have started their periods.

We also offer an Emergency Hormonal Contraception ( EHC) service which is sometimes referred to as the ‘Morning After Pill’. This is a FREE NHS service to anyone between the ages 13-24.
