Moorcare Devon, a family-run business, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team across our three small supported living homes.

We have a full time position available across our 3 supported living homes

Sleep-in shifts: £120 per night

Full-time hours with opportunities for additional shifts during staff leave

A warm, supportive working environment

Full training provided (experience preferred but not essential)

Weekend work required on a 1-in-2 rota

A valid driving licence is desirable

Community carers needed in and around Tavistock- FT and PT considered.
Evenings & Weekends
£14.22 weekday -£14.75 weekend Rate
Travel time paid @ £11.44
Mileage paid at 45 p per mile.
Paid training and CRB- with progression to NVQS, Phone Allowance Available
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a community setting
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor and document individuals' progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Administer medications and ensure compliance with medication schedules
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeaner
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check

Support worker to enable our young people to access the community and activities at home.

Moorcare Devon are looking for a part time person to help our young people access the community.

Your role would be working one on one with our clients that may want to go swimming, horse riding, bike riding, skateboarding or to the shops. Or at home with cooking and teaching them skills of independence.

You must be experienced in supporting young people that have additional needs such as autism and intellectual disabilities.

We use a positive behaviour approach with our young people to ensure they enjoy a quality of life, through the importance of meaningful activity, participation and skills development.

Part time hours can be flexible.
