Devon and Cornwall Care Services We are an independent, family run, regulated Community Care provider with over 23 years of experience. We tailor the care to your individual needs.

DACCS works with adults over the age of 18 to provide the level of care needed by each individual person. When did you last check in on someone, not just to ask how they are, but to really listen?

For many older adults, a short conversation can be the highlight of the day. A few minutes of connection can lift mood, ease loneliness, and bring a sense of reassurance.

At Devon and Cornwelll Services, we build care around these moments, combining practical support with genuine human connection.

Sometimes, the smallest gestures carry the most meaning. 💜🌷

Mother’s Day is a time to pause and recognise the women who shaped our lives — with patience, strength, and steady love.💐

For many families, this day is about gratitude. For some, it’s about cherished memories. And for others, it’s simply about spending meaningful time together.
In the homes we support, we see every day how much mothers and grandmothers have given to those around them.

🌺Today is a moment to give something back- whether that’s time, comfort, conversation, or reassurance that they are cared for.

Wishing you all mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures,
Happy Mother’s Day! 🌺🌹🌷

Myth: Home care means losing independence.
Fact: The right support actually protects independence by helping with the tasks that are becoming difficult.
For families balancing work and caregiving, weekdays can feel overwhelming.
Scheduled visits ensure daily essentials are covered, so evenings can be spent connecting, not catching up on tasks.

🌸 International Women’s Day

Today we recognise the strength, resilience, and contribution of women across generations.

In home care, we see it every day - in the women who built families, careers, communities, and in those who now deserve comfort, dignity, and respect in return.
🌹🌹🌹
We also see it in the dedicated carers who provide skilled, compassionate support in homes across our community.
International Women’s Day is a reminder that care, leadership, and quiet strength often go hand in hand.

Today, we celebrate women and the impact they continue to make.

We truly couldn’t deliver the high standard of care we’re so proud of without our incredible team 💜
As a small token of our appreciation, we surprised our wonderful staff with a bunch of bright daffodils, a little gesture to say thank you and to welcome the hope of spring! 🌼
We are so grateful for everything you do, today and every day.
