Bookings are now open for our Gentle Outdoor Wellness Walks 🌿

These walks have been created for those who need a slower, more supportive pace — whether that’s due to chronic illness, recovery from stress or burnout, or simply a need to spend some quiet time in nature.

Our first walk will be an Accessible Path Walk on 20 April, designed to be gentle, steady and welcoming.

Small groups, no pressure, just space to breathe and reconnect.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to get outside, this might be your gentle starting point 💚

20/03/2026

There’s something about the spring equinox in Devon that feels like a quiet reset.

Equal day, equal night… a natural pause before the energy of the year really begins to build.

Today, I walked barefoot on the moor — feeling the ground beneath my feet, letting my body slow down and catch up with the season.

Because this is the bit we often skip…
We expect ourselves to leap into spring, full of energy —
but in reality, the body needs time to rebalance first.

This is exactly what I see in the treatment room too.
At this time of year, reflexology gently supports the body as it shifts out of winter — helping with energy, hormones, sleep and that general feeling of “I’m not quite there yet”.

No force. No rush. Just supporting your body to find its own rhythm again.

✨ A walk outside
✨ Bare feet on the earth
✨ Or a moment on the reflexology couch

All count.

Are you feeling energised yet… or still moving through spring slowly? 🌼

Gentle Outdoor Wellness Walks

Join me for a slow, grounding walk designed to support your wellbeing without overwhelm. Each session includes gentle movement, mindful breathing, seasonal noticing and plenty of rest stops.

I run two walks each month:
• The Accessible Path Walk – paved, predictable and suitable for low stamina or chronic illness.
• The Moorland Ease Walk – a gentle woodland route for those who want a little more nature immersion at a slow, supported pace.

All sessions are calm, inclusive and pressure-free — just a chance to breathe, reconnect and move at the speed your body needs.

Over the past year I’ve seen how many people are craving nature, connection and calm — but without the pressure of big groups, fast walks, or “pushing through”.

So I’m really excited to share that I’m launching Gentle Outdoor Wellbeing Walks in West Devon 💚

These are slow, supported walks for people who are:

✨ living with chronic illness
✨ navigating hormonal change
✨ recovering from burnout or stress
✨ feeling disconnected from their bodies
✨ or simply needing more gentleness in life

We’ll walk slowly, breathe together, notice the seasons, and create space for quiet connection — with ourselves and each other. No pressure. No performance. No overwhelm.

There will be two walks each month:

🌱 one fully accessible on paved paths
🌲 one gentle moorland or woodland route

Both calm. Both inclusive. Both very gentle.

If this sounds like something your body is quietly asking for, pop a 💚 below or send me a message and I’ll share the details.

Does your body need fixing… or listening to?

Massage works directly with muscles.
Osteopathy focuses on alignment and movement.

Reflexology takes a different approach — working through reflex points on the feet to support the nervous system and encourage the body back into balance.

No forcing.
No pushing.

Just supporting the body to do what it’s naturally designed to do.

I’ve written a new blog explaining how reflexology differs from other bodywork therapies and why sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down.

Read it here:

An evening walk on the moor and a reminder that light always finds its way through.
Even on the cloudiest days. 🌅

Sometimes all we need is a bit of fresh air, open space, and a moment to breathe.

To the women who are holding everything together… I see you.

The woman who wakes up already thinking about everyone else’s needs.
The woman navigating hormones that seem to change the rules every few years.
The woman trying to conceive.
The woman growing a baby.
The woman raising children while wondering when she last had a moment to herself.
The woman moving through menopause and quietly adjusting to yet another new season of life.

I see you.

Being a woman means living through many chapters in one lifetime. Our bodies change, our roles evolve, and yet we’re often expected to simply carry on without pause.

Today, on International Women’s Day, feels like a good moment to say something that doesn’t get said enough:

✨ You don’t have to do everything alone.
✨ You deserve rest.
✨ You deserve support too.

This is why I care so deeply about creating a calm space through reflexology for women’s health — a place where your body can relax, reset and be listened to for a while.

Sometimes one quiet hour of care can make a world of difference.

If this resonates, leave a 🌸 in the comments or tag a woman who inspires you. Let’s remind each other that we’re not doing life alone.

Is your body waking up yet… or still in winter mode?

As we move closer to the Spring Equinox, nature is slowly starting to wake up again. The days are stretching out, there’s more light in the mornings, and you can almost feel that quiet shift into spring.

But our bodies don’t always move at the same speed.

Some people suddenly feel full of energy.
Others still feel a bit sluggish, tired, or like they’re slowly emerging from hibernation.

Both are completely normal.

I’m curious…

How are you feeling right now?

🌿 Full of energy and ready for spring
🌿 Slowly waking up
🌿 Still feeling very wintery

Pop your answer in the comments — I’d love to know where everyone is at.

I’ve also written a short blog about supporting the body as we transition from winter into spring, if you fancy a read:

There’s something quietly powerful about stepping outside in the early evening after a long, full day. Even when you’re tired. Even when the sofa is calling your name.

A gentle walk as the sun begins to dip can completely shift your nervous system. The light softens, the air cools, and suddenly your shoulders aren’t quite so close to your ears.

This kind of early evening walk at sunset isn’t about hitting steps or power marching. It’s about letting your body come back to itself. Watching the colours change. Breathing a little deeper. Letting the day land.

Time outdoors in nature at sunset supports:
✨ stress relief after a busy day
✨ better sleep (that natural light cue really matters)
✨ hormone balance through gentle nervous system regulation
✨ clearer thinking when your mind has been “on” all day

And honestly… sometimes it just makes you remember how lucky we are to live where we do.

If you’ve had a long one today, consider this your gentle nudge to step outside tomorrow evening. Even 10 minutes. Especially if you think you don’t have time.

Do you prefer sunrise or sunset walks? I’m curious – which one feels more like you right now? 🌅💛
