Nothhing beats the best soup on the planet! Żurek or White Borscht as is sometimes called is a traditional Polish soup based on Rye Sourdough. Served with white sausage, smoked bacon lardons, hard boiled egg and a dollop of horseradish.
Compulsory at every Easter Sunday table but also enjoyed as a hangover cure, especially at the after wedding parties.

Originally not gluten free, definitely not vegan, although it can be easily adapted. It’s so wholesome and delicious … Central European answer to Umami. It’s like a warm hug on a cold day.

• Collect from 1pm Saturday (Taynuilt, 39 Aldersyde)

⏰ Please note there will be no Thursday collection this week.

🐣 Instead we will be preparing your orders for collection on Easter Saturday from our base.

📚 This week we are also returning to Kilchrenan Village Hall Community Library with preorders and a selection of your favourite treats and Easter Bakes

The herb tables are bursting this week!
We’ve just had a huge delivery of fresh herbs including chervil, oregano, borage, coriander, parsley, mint, dill and lots more.
They’re perfect for pots by the back door, a sunny windowsill or tucked into beds and borders for easy, delicious picking.
Come and give them a sniff, choose your favourites and start your own little kitchen herb garden.
Open everyday from 10am to 5pm

Fresh delivery of our baking to Taynuilt Newsagency & Post Office. Available this morning are sweet and savoury scones, pastries, sourdough hot cross buns, selection of tiffins and gluten free baking as well as Sourdough Granola and Crackers.

Taynuilt Events are for a lookout for Volunteers to help spreading Easter Cheer arpund the village. Get in touch if you are interested 💬
