The Wednesday Edit: The 15-Minute Reset.

Take time to rest and recharge. 🌿

Learn to say no to what drains you.

Focus on the moment, not the What Ifs.

Find support in your circle.

Appreciate the small wins.

Look at your calendar for the rest of the week. What is one obligation you can Edit out to make room for yourself?

Tell me below what are you editing out today? šŸ‘‡

The Digital Boundaries We Need. šŸ•Šļø

In a world that is always on, choosing to be off is the ultimate power move.

Following on from Intention vs. Intensity, today we are looking at the practical infrastructure that keeps us focused. Our bandwidth is precious; we have to edit out the noise to make room for the life we actually want to live.

The 5 Reminders for your Tuesday:

Focus on what matters most.

Embrace imperfection.

Set clear boundaries.

Prioritise rest and recovery.

Celebrate small wins.

Which of these boundaries are you setting today? I’m leaning into #3. Let’s hold each other accountable in the comments. šŸ‘‡

When I first started in my online menopause journey, I created this page without even thinking about privacy… how could I have forgotten that, I’ll never know! šŸ™ˆ

So, I’ve created a private group to give each of you lovely ladies the anonymity and safe space you deserve šŸ’œ

I won’t be posting here as much, if at all going forward l, and I’d truly love for you to come and join me in our new group where we can continue supporting each other other openly and comfortably.

Pop over and be part of our sage soac. I can’t wait to see you there.

Menopause Symptoms - Hot Flushes

14/02/2026

Most women are offered HRT with very little explanation.

Not because your GP doesn’t care but because appointments are short and menopause is complex.

Here are 3 things worth knowing before your next visit:

• HRT isn’t one single prescription
• The delivery method matters
• You don’t have to qualify for support

Save this so you can walk in informed, confident, and prepared.

Informed women have better conversations.

The Weekend Permission Slip

Your Friday Permission Slip is here. šŸ’Œ

We’ve spent the week auditing the symptoms, tracking the cortisol, and understanding the science. But here is the most important Edit you can make this weekend: Lowering the bar.

In mid-life, we are often the CEO of everyone else’s lives. This weekend, you have permission to:

Say "No" to that social obligation that feels like a chore.

Take a nap without checking your phone first.

Ignore the To-Do list for two hours of total silence.

Rest isn’t a reward for finishing your work; it’s the fuel that keeps your hormones from red-lining.

Which one are you claiming this weekend?

Drop a āœ‹ in the comments if you’re taking your permission slip!

I’ve researched so you don’t have to. ✨
When I started navigating midlife, I felt like I was drowning in a mess of symptoms and conflicting advice. I knew there had to be a better way to get organised and feel back in control.
That’s why I created The Menopause Symptom Deck. I’ve spent months editing down the noise to create the essential infrastructure I wish I'd had. This isn't a medical textbook; it’s a practical, 35-page guide designed to help you identify what’s happening in your body and find a clear way forward.

Inside the deck, you’ll find:
30+ symptoms (including the ones nobody warns you about, like Joint Pain and Brain Fog) explained in plain English.
Simple, actionable strategies to help manage your symptoms day-to-day.
A grounded way to move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling informed and ready to talk to your GP or specialist.

You don't have to figure this out alone. The full deck is ready for you to download and start using tonight.

The Midlife Choose Your Adventure

Which one is your Permanent Resident today? šŸ

We’ve talked about the checklist and the science. Now, let’s be real. If you had to pick the one invisible symptom that follows you around like a shadow, which would it be?

The Match-Up:

A: The 3 PM Brain Slump 🄱 (Where you’d trade your car for a 20-minute nap and a clear thought).

OR

B: The 3 AM Brain Race šŸŽļø (Where you’re suddenly an expert on every mistake you made in 1994.)

Both are often tied to your glucose-insulin loop. When estrogen drops, your body becomes less efficient at processing sugar, leading to that afternoon crash and the middle-of-the-night spike.

Drop an A or a B in the comments. Let’s see which invisible visitor is winning this week! šŸ‘‡

The Midlife Word-Search 🧠

It’s on the tip of my tongue...

There is nothing quite as humbling as being mid-sentence in a meeting or a conversation and having a common word simply evaporate. You aren't losing your mind; you're experiencing the Estrogen-Brain Connection.

Your brain is high-density estrogen territory. Estrogen is a master regulator of your brain’s energy metabolism. When levels fluctuate, your brain’s processing speed can stutter, particularly in the hippocampus—the area responsible for verbal memory and word retrieval.

Anxiety is the enemy of retrieval. When you can’t find a word, pausing and breathing is more effective than trying harder.

Your brain is 60% fat. Increasing Omega-3s and staying hydrated isn't just wellness advice; it's basic maintenance for your neural firing.

The Call it Out Move: If you lose a word, say, 'My brain is currently on a word search; give me a second. It removes the shame and keeps you in control of the room.

Has the word-search happened to you at a particularly awkward time?

Share your most impressive brain-fog moment below; let’s laugh it off together. šŸ‘‡

The Invisible Symptom Checklist šŸ“‹

It’s not all in your head. It’s in your hormones.

We all hear about the hot flushes and the night sweats. However, those are just the symptoms that make the headlines. What about the invisible ones? The ones that make you feel like you’re losing your grip on your personality?

Check the ones hitting you today:

Knowing the word you want, but your brain refusing to deliver it.

Feeling a 0-to-100 spike of anger because someone breathed too loudly.

Feeling like your people battery is at 2% and wanting to cancel every plan.

Bumping into doorframes or dropping things for no reason.

Waking up and worrying about things that didn't bother you at 3 PM.

These aren't personal failings or early-onset anything. They are the result of your brain recalibrating to lower estrogen levels.

I want to normalise the weird stuff. Drop a YES in the comments for the one that’s currently your biggest hurdle. Let’s get it out in the open. šŸ‘‡
