It is with sadness that I have to give your wonderful company one month’s notice. I had a phone call from the care home this afternoon to say that a room in the dementia wing will be available in about two weeks ; the exact date I am unsure of as yet but I will confirm when I know.
The care that you and your wonderful staff have given Mum has been outstanding and you all have gone above and beyond what I expected; batch cooking meals and shopping to mention but two examples. I am so very grateful and we will be sad to say goodbye to you all. I will of course keep you updated about Mum.
Without you all we would not have been able to keep Mum at home for the last two years and that is something to be thankful for but her cognitive ability is deteriorating quickly and I feel that she needs twenty four hour care. Sadly the time has come.
