To become fit and healthy, the first thing you need to do is learn to love the skin you are in…
How do you expect your body to move you if all you only think negatively about it?
It’s a process, it won’t happen over night, think of it this way, if you are overweight, you didn’t just suddenly eat too much one weekend and think geez, or if you are unfit, it will have been a period of time you have not moved your body enough!
But your body, no matter what it feels like right now is amazing. Go back to the beginning, it grew from a tiny baby into the person you are now, your brain has taken on huge amounts of knowledge and stimulation over the years, you may have created other beings, and are caring and nourishing them - it’s time to put everything into perspective and LOVE your body!
The best way you can do this is give it the respect it deserves, feed it well, food is fuel for that cliche! Don’t look at food as rewards, and certainly don’t look at exercise as punishment!
Move it more, our legs are strong and powerful, take them on walks, start small, work up!
Don’t throw years away saying that you are too busy, or I’ll start soon - small changes now, lead to big changes to your whole life
