A fantastic weekend of cadet training in first aid!! 47 cadets trained in total all now qualified and OFQUAL certified first aiders, and excellent turnout for the school they attend. Well done to all the cadets in their successful completion.

This is fantastic news that has now become mandatory to save more lives in the community especially when ambulances and the NHS is so stretched! Simple training to use these saves many lives. Time is essential when someone is on cardiac arrest, for every passing minute, survival rate decreases by 10%.

Updating the mental health statistics in preparation for another first aid in mental health course only to discover that there has now been a 6.9% increase in the su***de rates in 2021 than 2020!!!

20% of accidents on major UK roads are due to fatigue costing employers £115- £240 million in work accidents.
