Karen helped residents create lovely decoupage, Teresa made a Highland cow heart, Christine picked a cosy dog design, and Sylvia, Jean, and Molly decorated coasters for their rooms. Beautiful results and happy smiles all round! ✨

Beryl enjoyed time with fellow residents and is heading out for afternoon tea with her family later in the week. As a daily helper with the café jigsaw, we gifted her a puzzle of her own, she’s already planning to share it once the current one is complete! 🧩 💛

Eileen enjoyed the music with her son, Trudy’s family visited, and Pam brought her best friend Kath. John played a range of songs from wartime favourites to ABBA and Elton John, finishing with a lively Crocodile Rock singalong! 🎶

We had a brilliant afternoon with the amazing Paul Watkins! ✨

He started with a fun TV theme tune quiz before getting everyone singing and dancing. Trish danced solo, Karen moonwalked to Billie Jean, and even played “trombone” with an inflatable hammer!

Peter’s family joined the fun, dancing and playing air guitar, while residents batted balloons and enjoyed every moment.

It was a great way to celebrate the Lionesses’ big win! 🏆 🦁

Pam has started a new project at the Art Shack with support from our Lifestyle Assistant, Karen 🎨

She’s working on a portrait of Karen with help from another local artist. It’s a great way for Pam to keep doing what she loves while exploring new techniques.

Since moving into Roden, this one-to-one outing has helped her reconnect with her passion and we’re excited to bring fresh ideas back to our craft sessions! ✨

On Saturday, we attended the Cuan Wildlife Rescue Open Day and Dog Show, where Pam, Karen, and Mia ran a craft stall to help raise funds and support the local community. 🎨

We had lovely chats, sold some handmade items, including one of Pam’s paintings and picked up a few gifts ourselves! Being right opposite the dog show made for some great entertainment too. 🐾

A fantastic day full of fun, charity, and community spirit! 💛

Our residents spent a lovely day crafting with our lifestyle assistant, Karen 🎨✨

They made beautiful decoupage shells with a delicate china-style design, finished with a soft antique look. Once dried and shiny, they make perfect little trays for trinkets or jewellery.

Each resident made a set, one to keep, and one for our craft stall! 💛🐚
