Why we ask about your appointment 🩺💬

When booking an appointment, our reception team may ask what it’s for. This helps us get you to the right professional as quickly as possible.

We have many specialists who can often see you sooner than a GP, including nurse practitioners, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, first contact practitioners, Pharmacy First, social prescribers, and urgent eyecare services.

Our reception staff are trained to signpost you, so sharing a little information helps ensure you receive the right care, at the right time.

The surgery will close at midday today to ensure the safety of both staff and patients.

❄️ UPDATE (09.01.2026 6:30am) ❄️

The surgery remains open today, however please call us to cancel your appointment if you cannot make it to the surgery. If appropriate, we can convert face to face appointments to phone calls.

Members of our nursing team have been up and out early this morning to clear the paths and disabled access spaces to ensure the area is as safe as possible. Despite this, the surrounding area continues to pose risks, so please travel carefully and allow extra time if you need to attend the surgery.

The surgery remains open as normal today. Work is under way to clear and grit the paths to make them more accessible.

If you have an appointment which you can no longer attend please call us.

If you would prefer a telephone consultation instead, please call us and - if clinically appropriate - we can arrange this for you.
