Court Street Medical Practice At Court Street Surgery we aim to provide high quality health care to all our patients. We are fortunate to have many highly skilled staff.

At Court Street Medical Practice, we work as team, involving the receptionists, managerial staff and all the clinical staff in providing a truly integrated service. Please use all of our team members to help improve your health. Anyone living within the Practice are is welcome to register with us and may do so by contacting a member of the administration team. If you change address please check with reception to see if your new address is still within our practice boundaries. As a patient, we will endeavour to provide you with the best possible health care. In return we would ask that you be courteous to our staff at all times and that you give consideration to other patients who may have more pressing problems. Please do not make unnecessary requests for home visits as they are extremely time consuming and please let us know if you are unable to attend an appointment so it may be relocated. We reserve the right to remove you from our list should your behaviour be abusive or violent. We do not discriminate on the grounds of patient's race, creed, sexual orientation or life-style. Reception is open from 8.20am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. The phone lines are open from 8am till 6pm every day.

Flu and Covid can make you seriously unwell, but you may be eligible for a FREE NHS vaccination at Court Street Medical Practice, and we are booking appointments now!

✅ Flu vaccine – if you’re 65+, pregnant, have certain long-term health conditions, live in a care home, or care for someone at risk.

✅ Covid-19 Autumn Booster – if you’re 75+, live in a care home for older adults, or are immunosuppressed (aged 6 months+).

Today, Court Street Medical Practice was recognised at the Recovery Conference Awards as an Exemplary Practice 🏆

We were nominated by a prescriber from Telford Stars, who said:

"I would just like to say that Court Street Medical Practice should be up for an award from us as one of the best GP practices working with our patients ... Court Street seems consistent no matter who you see, like it’s part of their ethos. When I raise concerns or requests, they always respond. They were also involved in some joint working with a younger patient who became end of life during his oncology treatment. I recently saw some notes from a GP consultation on EMIS for one of my patients and it was clear that they were caring and compassionate. It’s a shame, as I know not all our patients get this response. It appears they do not stigmatise which is refreshing!!”

⚽ We’re delighted to be sponsoring Sinclair United Lynx Under 11 Girls this season! 💙

The team are now in their second season in the Shropshire League, with 14 signed players and more developing their skills through training.

At the weekend, the girls proudly played in their new away kit for the first time in an exciting match at Shrewsbury College - battling hard to secure a 3–3 draw against a strong Shrewsbury Up & Comers side. 👏

With the incredible success of the Lionesses inspiring so many young players, it’s fantastic to see girls’ football growing stronger than ever. We’re proud to support the Lynx as they continue to build their confidence, teamwork, and love for the game, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings!

By expanding the services community pharmacies offer, the NHS is aiming to help free up GP appointments and give people more choice in how and where they access care.

Don't wait for minor health concerns to get worse – think pharmacy first and get seen by your local pharmacy team.

Pharmacies can offer medical advice and help with these health conditions:

• Earache (age 1 to 17)
• Sinusitis (age 12 and over)
• Sore throat (age 5 and over)

As part of the Telford & Wrekin Start for Life initiative, there are FREE places available for Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin PARENTS / PARENTS TO BE to attend a baby and child First Aid and Accident Prevention class.

The class covers CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures, Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness, along with how to prevent those accidents from happening in the first place.
