ALLSPORTS COACHES COACHING ACADEMY CIC is a Community Interest Company committed to the Armed Forces Covenant and a member of Social Enterprise UK. Primarily focused on working with Veterans and their Families, our holistic programmes can be adapted for Key Workers, Retired Sports Professionals and others including NEET’s who are considering a career change. The CIC has been set up after a number

of people with a passion for sport shared concerns about the sustainable supply of coaches and the difficulties of working in challenging environments suffering budget constraints.

The Army Benevolent Fund is recruiting an Events Assistant to join our friendly regional team based at Catterick Garrison.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, supporting events, and being part of a small team that makes a real difference to soldiers, veterans, and their families.

You’ll help with:

• organising and supporting fundraising events
• working with volunteers and supporters
• event administration and communications
• getting out and about across the region

We’re looking for someone who is flexible, well organised, and happy to pitch in when needed - especially during busy event periods.

Today, at Allsports Coaches Coaching Academy CIC, we stand together to raise awareness, promote understanding, and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual on the autism spectrum.

Autism is not something to be “fixed” — it’s a different way of experiencing the world. Every child and young person brings their own strengths, talents, and perspectives, and it’s our role as coaches, mentors, and role models to create environments where they feel safe, understood, and empowered.

Through sport and structured coaching, we aim to:

🧠 Support emotional wellbeing
🤝 Encourage positive relationships
🌱 Create inclusive spaces where every child belongs

We recognise that some children may need extra support, patience, and understanding — and that’s exactly what we are here to provide.

It was really encouraging to hear the different positive coping strategies everyone uses, and even more powerful that they were shared so others can try them too. Giving people the chance to explore what works for them helps create healthy, positive outlets and supports wellbeing in a meaningful way. 💙
