Men.....we want you! As part of Men's Health week the Blood Pressure Project would like to do a shout out to local men to come along for a Blood Pressure check this Thursday. All adults are welcome but we are aware we're not reaching as many males as we had hoped. Emma is available for a free BP check and a chat about how you can improve your reading if you need too.

Celebrating our community heroes during National Volunteers Week
Meet Gian who volunteers as a Health Champion and Blood Pressure Checker volunteer.
Gian was looking for a new challenge and a new skill. She also wanted to use her skills towards the Community Blood Pressure Project.
Gian explained that people could be walking around thinking they are healthy, but they maybe not know that they have high blood pressure.
She explained that volunteering had increased her knowledge and improved her understanding of health issues and the various communities/groups in Telford and Wrekin.
Thanks to Gian and all the Health Champion volunteers who give their time for the benefit of others.
