LUNG CANCER SCREENING FACT - Did you know that approximately three quarters of people who are diagnosed with lung cancer through the programme are caught at an early stage (stages 1 or 2), when lung cancer is easier to treat? Without such early intervention, less than a third of lung cancers are caught at an early stage. If you are between age 55-74 years old and are a current or ex-smoker you can expect to receive an invitation from anytime now until Spring 2026. You may have received one already. We strongly encourage you to respond to your invitation and help us get ahead of lung cancer, sometimes before symptoms start.

CHANGE TO RIBBON REBELS!!! We still plan to meet at Stirchley Medical Practice 11-12pm today. Please be aware that the room we usually use for the group is temporarily out of action. We plan to use a different room at the practice for our get together. Please note that this room involves climbing some stairs. Apologies in advance if this last minute change means you can no longer attend.
