Looking for work that truly means something?

At SEAH, being a Mental Health Support Worker isn’t just a job — it’s the chance to change lives every single day.
We’re hiring in Shrewsbury and we’re looking for compassionate, motivated people to join our supportive and friendly team.

No experience? That’s absolutely fine.
We provide full training, ongoing support, and fully funded qualifications to help you build a long-term career in care.

Here’s what you can expect:
• £12.70 per hour
• £88 per sleep-in shift (optional)
• Enhanced Bank Holiday rates
• Full-time and part-time permanent contracts
• Funded NVQ qualifications (Levels 2–5)
• Employee Assistance & wellbeing support
• Extra annual leave for long service
• Supportive management and daily guidance

You’ll be supporting adults in Supported Living and the community — helping people live independently, build confidence, and achieve their goals.
If you’re caring, positive, and ready to make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.

It’s Children’s Mental Health Week! This week is about recognising that children’s mental health is just as important as physical health.

Small, everyday moments—listening, encouraging play, helping build routines—can make a big difference to a child’s wellbeing.

If you’re a parent, carer, or support worker: take a moment this week to check in, ask how a child is feeling, and encourage safe spaces to talk.

Supporting others through mental health challenges can take a toll. Feeling tired, frustrated, or emotionally drained does not mean you are bad at your job.
