A2E works through the Awarding Organisation ITC First to deliver their regulated first aid qualifications.
By choosing an AO accredited training provider you are ensuring that the training and assessments will be of a high standard and that the qualifications will be recognised nationally.
Although regulated courses sometimes cost more than those offered by Centres not working through AOs and offering non regulated qualifications by choosing an AO accredited Centre such as A2E and regulated qualifications you can have peace of mind and are meeting your due diligence obligations.
ITC First has been offering regulated first aid qualifications for the best part of 20 years and one thing that we have always stood for and supported is national standards in this respect. One way that we support standards is by being part of the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum (FAAOF).
As a forum, we support external regulation and working together to standardise First Aid Qualifications and the benefits that they bring. Benefits such as a robust Quality Assurance processes in design, delivery and award of the qualification.
The forum has produced a handy document that summarises the benefits that regulated first aid qualifications brings. You can take a look at the document here -https://www.itcfirst.org.uk/cdl/179a/Benefits_of_Regulated_First_Aid_Qualifications.pdf
