Because everything is better with cake 🧁🍰

On Monday we had our 'Brew Monday' Coffee morning here at Woodside Place.

Our resident Chef, Charlie was on hand to help bake his vanilla cupcakes and chocolates scones. Our Glamorous Senior Health Care Assistant, Jackie was on hand to make her special coffees ☕️ and Dan assisted in making thoughtful cake toppers with positive, uplifting quotes.

Lots of cake, coffee and smiles 🤗💕

Competition success for Woodside Place ⭐️

We are proud to share that our resident Ambassador, Dan represented our home at the Midlands Service User Council Christmas party Christmas Cake decorating competition..... and came home with joint 1st place! 🥇

Dan worked alongside our activities coordinator to create a chocolate wreath cake for the competition. When he saw the other entries on the day, he wasn't convinced we'd win, which made the achievement all the more special ⭐️ He was so pleased with the result and couldn't wait to share the news when he returned home 🤗

Well done Dan, and Thank you to the Council for hosting a fantastic Christmas event 🎄
