Hi I'm Charlotte, a Slimming World Consultant at Park Lane Centre Woodside. The freedom to get more active in a way that suits you and your lifestyle.

To say I'm proud of myself & some of my members would be an understatement 😁

During September, Cancer Research UK ran a 1 mile a day challenge to help raise money for their charity. I put this challenge to my members, not only to help raise money for a much needed cause but also to help challenge & motivate us to get out & move more....Of course they agreed ☺️

Alot of us exceeded that 1 mile a day which is bloody amazing.. weve walked, ran, swam & even danced our way through our miles! But whats made me proudest the most is how weve all supported & cheered each other on!
Today marks the end of this challenge & weve raised a nice £90 for the charity which we know will be greatly received 🥰

We're not stopping there though...weve all enjoyed doing it that much, weve decided to do it again during October for another charity - Birmingham Children's Hospital and Charity 62 miles during October challenge has got our vote 🥰

I know were absolutely gonna smash this out the bag too 👊❤️

Twas 14 weeks to Christmas & all around the town, ex Slimming World members were starting to frown. Oh why did I do it? Oh why did I lapse?

I know..I'll give my consultant Charlotte a call & maybe perhaps, she'll welcome me back with arms open wide & help me lose more weight so I don't have to hide! 🎅

Then up from the rooftops there came such a shout - ''Of course you can come back, of that theres no doubt!' My consultant Charlotte was swinging from the chimney above, to shower all members with much Christmas love 🎄 shouting I CAN HELP, I CAN HELP just come back to group, back to the free foods like stews & soups. With healthy extras & syns..how can you fail? It really doesnt matter if you’ve slipped of the rails!

So I'll see you in group to get back in the swing & we can party till Christmas & let the bells ring! 🎅🔔

A warm welcome awaits you, zero judgement, just get back amongst friends that understand & can help ❤️

Really enjoyed my sessions yesterday - lots of group love & support as always!

We had some absolutely fantastic loses between them & I got to hand out some amazing life changing awards - 2 of which were 1/2stone awards for 2 new members in their first week 😁

Slimming World isnt just about being the new life style changes, its a room full of people that support & cheer you on every step of the way...which believe me, when losing weight really is the key to your success ❤️

Even Consultants have times in their weightloss journey that they just lose that mojo & come off track slightly. Sometimes we get it back quite quickly & sometimes it takes a while....were only human after all.

Ive been toying with myself for a good year now, up a few lbs, down a few...a right yo-yo! But it left me 1st 5lb out of my target!

Last week something CLICKED! I had one of those deep rooted talks with myself, I planned, I got back on plan & l took back my control!

And it paid off!! I got on those scales this morning with a 5lb loss & also bagged SOW 😁

No matter where you are in your journey, those blips we all have really dont last forever. We all have the knowledge & experience in us to make that plan, take back control & get back to losing beautifully 🫶

Soooo...A brand new chapter is ahead of you, 30 days that are yet to be written....how are yours going to look?

What goals are you looking to achieve? Whats going to help you get there? What might you have to be put in place to help protect you? What changes are going to have to be made?

Be consistent, be resilient & dont be afraid to step out of your comfort zone - that really is the place we find ourselves 🫶

Be the change you truly want to be, because without those changes...nothing will change!
