With the end of garden season in sight today have received a notification from Meta. As a slightly sceptical person a quick search of 'Scams Meta Business Suite' reveal a whole host of people who had login details etc stolen! Please be careful in run up to Christmas it will be both small business owners and private accounts that will be targeted. Stay safe online.

Back to regular gardening now after a short break in Istanbul Turkey. We looked at some beautiful gardens but also took time to learn a new skill in the form of Ebru Art which we learned at Turkish Art. It was a very relaxing and therapeutic experience and I would recommend it to anyone you don't need to be artistic. If you ever want to try drop them an email I am sure they would love to teach you. info@turkisharts.com

My lavender at home is a late flowering one and it's still covered with loads of bees. Try to plant for pollinaters If possible.

Hope everyone enjoying their gardens. This is one of my customers gardens and features Alstroemeria in many garden borders. This is a hardy herbaceous plant and can be divided in April May by splitting the tubers it's also known as Peruvian Lily as it's a native of South America. Pollinaters love them and video best with sound turned up.

My roses seem later this year or maybe it's just my perception? I have had trouble with keeping rust and aphids away and I have lost my old Buff Beauty rose. I cut it back to see if it will reshoot but I am not hopeful.

I am using a garlic spray to help with aphids and fungicide for rust but for all of us keeping the garden looking good takes more work than you think.

The flowers are what makes the work worthwhile.
