π Golden Step and Falls Prevention

This is especially important at this time of year. Cold, wet and slippery weather increases the risk of falls, particularly when pavements are icy, uneven or wet.
Falls are not a normal part of ageing, and the good news is that the right type of exercise can significantly reduce the risk.
At Golden Step, we focus on exercises that help you stay steady, confident and safe during everyday activities.
In our sessions we work on:
- balance and stability exercises
- leg strength using body weight, bands and light weights
- improving reaction and coordination
- posture and walking confidence
- safe movement strategies
All exercises are gentle, supported and adapted to you β seated or standing, always with safety first π
