✨ What is Little Academy? ✨

Little Academy is a playful early learning class designed to gently support your child’s journey towards school readiness 🤍

Created for toddlers and preschoolers, each session follows a weekly theme and introduces key early skills through fun, hands-on activities ✨

From mark making and early writing, to scissor skills, early phonics, counting, fine motor development, and creative exploration — every activity is designed to build confidence, independence, and a love of learning 💫

There’s structure, but always through play… so children feel guided without pressure, and can learn in a way that feels natural and exciting 🤍

It’s the perfect next step for little ones who are growing in confidence and ready to gently explore a more “school-like” routine, while still keeping things fun, warm, and engaging ✨

Our website is open for bookings for Summer Term 1! This term is all about discovering number fun through play-based learning activities like match making and sorting. With sessions for just £5, your little ones can dive into early maths skills in no time. First session is Wednesday 22nd April, 1.30pm at Ketley Community Centre.

Why not join us for Summer Term 1 - another term of PAYG at only £5 per session, throughout the whole 5 weeks = £25 for 5 classes! There will not be another term this cheap!

SNIP SNIP! It's Scissors week!
Next Wednesday 25th is our final class of the term and it's going to be a good one!

Your little one will become a Gardner, trimming the trees or a Hairdresser, cutting the hair or even a snake handler, snipping the snakes into sizes.

Scissor work is such a versatile skills. It strengthens those little hands and fingers, builds hand eye coordination and even builds on those early pre-writing skills!

Mother’s Day can be many things.

For some, it’s cuddles in bed, handmade cards and sticky little kisses.
For others, it can hold grief, longing, complicated feelings or quiet reflection.

However today looks for you, we’re holding space for it all.

Today we’re celebrating every woman who pours love into a child’s life.

Mums.
Step-mums.
Grandmas.
Aunties.
Carers.
The women who comfort, guide, encourage and show up every day.

And to those who find today hard — we see you too.
