I specialise in stress, anxiety and depression. Please contact me for further information or to book. Reflexology is a complementary therapy in which I use my thumb and fingers to apply pressure to the client’s feet and/or hands. Reflexology is based on the ancient principles that energy is flowing all around our bodies. If the energy can flow freely then we are balanced and healthy. If the energy is obstructed an illness may result. The theory is that the feet mirror the body. All organs, systems and glands of the body can be mapped onto areas of the feet called reflex points. I know how to stimulate the reflex points in order to bring about a response in the corresponding part of the body. Through working these reflex points I will aim to stimulate the body’s own natural healing ability to restore the body’s normal healthy balance and energy. I cover Templecombe, Wincanton, Sherborne, Castle Cary, Milborne Port, Shaftesbury, Marnhull, Stalbridge and all surrounding areas.

Mental Health Week - Reading for Your Mind & Soul

Did you know that reading isn’t just a way to escape into a good story—it’s also a powerful act of self-care?

Here’s how reading can support your mental health:

•Reduces Stress: Losing yourself in a book can lower stress levels by up to 68%! It’s a simple way to calm your mind and body.
• Boosts Mood: Whether it’s uplifting fiction or inspiring non-fiction, reading can boost your mood and bring a sense of hope or perspective.
• Improves Sleep: Creating a relaxing bedtime routine with a book can help you wind down and improve sleep quality.
• Encourages Mindfulness: Reading draws you into the present moment, giving your busy mind a break from anxious thoughts.

Whether it’s a few pages a day or getting lost in a novel, reading is a gentle way to nourish your mental wellbeing.

I love reading and am currently enjoying ‘The Girl With The Louding Voice’ by Abi Dare

Mental Health Week

Walking in nature is a simple but powerful tool for supporting mental health.

It helps to:

• Reduce stress and anxiety by lowering your cortisol levels
• Boosts your mood by stimulating the production of endorphins and serotonin
• Improve your sleep by helping to regulate your sleep patterns
•Enhances focus and creativity by clearing mental clutter and and improving concentration
• Connects your body and mind by encouraging you to be present

My favourite place to walk is Stourhead National Trust in Wiltshire and it is absolutely beautiful at this time of year!

Let’s talk about anxiety… and how reflexology may help

Anxiety can show up in many ways—racing thoughts, tight chests, sleepless nights, or just that constant feeling of being “on edge.” It can be exhausting.

Reflexology offers a calm and nurturing space to slow things down.

By applying gentle pressure to specific points on the feet, reflexology helps rebalance the nervous system, encourages deep relaxation, and supports your body’s natural ability to cope with stress. Many of my clients leave a session feeling lighter, more grounded, and with a greater sense of calm.

It’s not a magic fix—but it is a beautiful, natural way to give your mind and body a break.

If you’re feeling anxious and would like to see how reflexology could support you, feel free to message me—I charge £45 per session and each session lasts around an hour. I’m always happy to chat.

Hello April 🫶

What a lovely sunny start to the month!

As a mobile therapist, I spend a lot of time on the road, and I love making the most of it. Lately, with the sun shining, I’ve been enjoying the warm breeze through the window while listening to a mindful podcast on my way to my next client. A little moment of calm between treatments!

World Mental Health Day 2024

Taking care of our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Over the past few months, I’ve taken time to focus on my own well-being, which is why I haven’t been posting much. On this , let’s remember to check in with ourselves and each other. Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. Sending love to anyone who needs it today 💚
