From my experience as an EMMETT practitioner, neck, shoulders,back arms and grip can all be affected, by posture, so why not book yourself in for a treatment

Forward head posture - great reminder about how we use smartphones at too low a level! It also is the same for tablets.
Many EMMETT practitioners will see a lot of clients with neck issues and it will be worth exploring their technology habits to help reduce this problem as well as receiving treatment for those tired and overused muscles.

Tension and stress is such a big problem these days. Often presenting as a physical issue in painful muscles, it is useful to use a gentle, hands-on therapy, like EMMETT, to relax those muscles and to allow you to reduce the amount of tension.
Mind and body are connected and often relaxing the body will assist with relaxing the mind.

Yet another wonderful post from Emmet UK. Lost count how many times I have released abdominals on people with back problems, also great move I combine with kinesiology digestion.

Here’s another pair of muscles that people have a chuckle about - “Six pack- Ha -I don’t have any of that!”
Well the truth is that the six pack muscles are there in everyone - maybe not as well defined in some!
EMMETT has a great, simple way to release the tension in these abdominal muscles - allowing the body to stand up more straight and also take the tension out of painful back muscles. If the abdominal muscles are not relaxed they can pull the body over and create a painful stretch through the back of the body.
They can also put pressure on the abdominal organs - causing discomfort

I hear this all the time especially from people with lower back, knee and feet pain.

How many times do EMMETT practitioners hear the phrase “oh, my hamstrings are rubbish!”
Often they are tight and inflexible - and if the tightness is on one side, then this can cause an imbalance in other parts of the body - often in the pelvis.
We have ways of helping those strong muscles relax and re-balance .

I have lots of people asking what Restore Scar Therapy is, the information below hopefully will help explain.
I can work on any scar (Surgery or accident) after it has healed (approx 8 weeks) these include things such as Caesarian, Hysterectomy, Knee/ Hip replacement, Oncology scars& Burns.

I will combine scar work with other therapies as required.
