Today is ‘World Mental Health Awareness Day’. I find today we are surrounded by information about how to look after our emotional wellbeing. We find information on social media, in newspapers, magazines, health centres, notice boards, it is every where.
I wonder how many of us stop and take time to think about our ourselves, our mental health? When was the last time you considered how you are feeling? What is troubling you or preoccupying a lot of your thoughts? How your body feels? What in your life is unhelpful? What is good about life and what you need more of?
Have you ever considered counselling as a way of exploring your thoughts and feelings? Have you considered counselling as a way of looking after your wellbeing?
Counselling is proven to help many people explore their feelings and thoughts about whatever it is that is difficult at the time or from the past. Counselling isn’t only beneficial to help with challenges it can help you explore who you are and celebrate your uniqueness.
