I have always enjoyed helping people to feel cared for and happy. You matter to me.

After my second son was born, I left my role as a Housing Advice and Homeless Officer to focus on, as many mums do, combining being able to work with raising my (now 3) boys. Being self employed, providing a service I love, has been the perfect balance for me.

I have been a qualfied Foot Health Practitioner for ten years, providing footcare and advice. It’s always wonderful to hear people say “it’s like walking on air!” at the end of their treatment. I have always taken great pride in providing an excellent and thorough service.

Listening to my clients’ needs, I now also provide Medical Pedicures. An advanced treatment plus the benefits of a salon pedicure. You have the reassurance that all of my equipment is sterilised to the same high standard, using an ultrasonic cleaner and an autoclave steriliser.

I am now able to continue the quality of care and attention to the service of providing Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy from my relaxing treatment room. I also provide parking to help make your visit even easier.

I have a long history in dance and finally stepped away from the stage at the age of 22, although continued in choreography for a while after. I understand the importance of keeping your body, muscles, and body systems in the best condition and comfort as possible.

Swedish Massage is a body massage that uses a combination of long strokes, kneading motions, friction, stretching and tapotement (tapping). It focuses on the body as a whole and can help ease muscle tension, improve circulation, improve flexibility, promote relaxation and rid the body of waste products through the lymphatic system.

Aromatherapy can help improve both physical and emotional well-being with the use of essential oils. It is believed that inhalation of essential oils stimulate a part of the brain associated with the limbic system. This controls emotions and retrieves learned theories. It causes chemicals to be released by the brain that can help a person to feel calm, relaxed or even stimulated. Aromatherpy can help to relieve anxiety, stress and tension, ease depression, boost energy levels, boost cognitive performance, help ease headaches, induce sleep, reduce pain, increase circulation and help improve digestion.

Clients have regularly asked me over the years about reflexology. I am happy to say I am currently training in reflexology and am absolutely loving providing the treatment and seeing the results it can bring. Watch this space!
